Authors or authorized providers should prepare a source inventory for materials relating to management research, business observations or thematic analysis in 2023. Identify research questions, organizations and observation periods, distinguishing public documents, internal records, interviews and researchers' analysis. This intake supports compilation and verification; it does not imply that the Association approved, funded or published the research in that year.
Register sources and conditions of use
Identify each principal source's title, creator, date, means of acquisition and permissions. Retain original links and access dates for online resources and confirm providers' authority to license internal records. Cite precise locations for others' charts, statements or findings. The ability to view a resource does not confer unrestricted rights to reproduce or publish it in full.
Check evidence against arguments
Connect main judgments to specific sources and explain their coverage and limitations. Preserve checks and unresolved questions when sources conflict rather than selecting only evidence supporting a predetermined conclusion. List versions used during research separately from later revisions; subsequent materials must not replace the factual basis available at the time.
Supplement and confirm the archive
The Association Office will check inventories against attachments and request missing source, permission or version information. Date supplementary interviews and present analysis according to their actual creation, and explain unavailable records honestly. Before archiving, submitters must confirm citations, attribution and disclosure scope. Material errors or permission disputes should prompt a supported request for correction or suspended use.
