Notice on Explaining Contributions to Team Management Cases from 2022

Guidance on recording contributions to problem definition, design, implementation and maintenance for accurate attribution and citation.

Submitters of joint cases concerning team management, cross-department coordination or staff development in 2022 should verify contributions with the principal participants. Explain responsibilities around a specific management task rather than using seniority, author order or the length of a profile as measures of contribution. Distinguish individual experience from the team's overall results and institutional support from direct professional work.

Describe contributions by activity

Identify actual work in problem recognition, solution design, resource coordination, implementation, result checks and ongoing maintenance, with corresponding records. Not every participant needs to cover every stage. Explain external advisers' or supporting organizations' roles through contracts, communications or mutual confirmations without expanding them into unverified leadership claims.

Check attribution and case permissions

Before submission, explain the intended content and disclosure scope to participants and verify names, positions and organizations. Materials approved only for internal exchange cannot automatically be published. Preserve each party's account and pending questions in contribution disputes. Silence is not consent, and submitters must not unilaterally remove another person's actual contribution.

Correct records and confirm versions

After receipt, the Association Office will request missing evidence of roles or permissions. Revision notes should identify locations, reasons and confirmation methods and link to the relevant case version in the archive. Added participants, changed attribution or revised citation scope require renewed permission checks. Acceptance starts administrative handling and does not recognize an individual's competency or contribution level.
