Notice on Organising Professional Learning and Workplace Practice Records Relating to 2019

Present learning and application separately, identifying sources and verifiable changes.

Participants or authorised compilers of existing learning or workplace practice records relating to 2019 should prepare them under this notice. Learning records describe content encountered; practice records explain workplace use. Present them separately. Explain missing course evidence or logs honestly rather than inventing attendance, hours or evaluations.

Review learning materials actually retained

List existing course materials, notes, reading records or exercises, identifying subjects, sources and dates that can be confirmed. Preserve the issuing institution’s name and wording on external course evidence. Attendance, completion and professional qualification are not interchangeable. Do not infer unknown learning hours from page counts.

Explain application and feedback

Choose an actual task related to the learning, explaining the method tried, your contribution and available feedback. Distinguish intended approaches from actions implemented and connect effects to specific records. Explain concurrent changes in staff, resources or business conditions rather than attributing all improvement to learning.

Link learning and practice

Use a brief index to connect learning materials with practice records. Learning without verifiable application may be identified as such; do not force a result to match. Confirm permissions and current intake requirements before submission. Date additions and corrections when actually compiled, retain originals and explanations, and do not present current reflection as an assessment made in the historical year.
