Providers of existing statistical tables, operational records or analyses concerning management improvement in 2018 should check them under this notice. The purpose is to explain what the data establish and their limitations, not to invent missing-period figures. Completed verification does not automatically endorse effectiveness or professional competence.
Define indicators and coverage
For principal indicators, identify populations, units, periods and calculations, distinguishing direct records from later estimates. Explain evidential coverage where summaries cannot be fully traced to underlying records. Where departments use the same indicator name with different calculations, report them separately instead of combining them into an organisation-wide figure.
Check comparison conditions
When comparing before and after, examine changes in volume, complexity, staffing and observation periods. Restrict conclusions to the batch or location covered by available data. Identify possible effects of concurrent system changes or external developments. An improved indicator alone does not establish that one measure caused the entire change.
Prepare explanations and corrections
Attach a concise definition note and source index, handling customer or personal details as necessary. Confirm current intake requirements before providing the requested content. Where calculations or citation scope are wrong, retain the original table, explain the correction and actual revision date, and check summaries or explanations quoting the figure.
